When viewing an opportunity the Overview tab contains all of the general information for the opportunity. Most of this information is editable. This article covers all of the information contained in the Overview section of an opportunity and how to edit the information.

Tap on either the Sold-to or Ship-to box to edit the information. Select Update Customer to save changes made in the RFMS Customer Record.
- Opportunity Name
- You can rename the opportunity anything you would like. By default it will have the name of the customer. The date next to the name cannot be edited or deleted.
- Opportunity Number
- This is a unique identifying number for the opportunity. This cannot be edited. This number can be used when searching opportunities.
- Source
- Enter the ad source or select from the dropdown list. Including an add source is optional.
- Store
- Select the store associated with the opportunity.
- Estimator
- Select the estimator assigned to do the Measure.
Tip: If no estimator is selected, then an appointment will not be made, but a date can be included.
- Schedule Button
- Select this button to open the calendar to view available time slots for the assigned estimator.
- Measure Date and Time
- Select and date and time to create a Measure appointment. This appointment will appear on your calendar and the calendar of the estimator
- Estimated Delivery
- Enter an estimated delivery date. This is necessary for a Measure appointment to be made.
Include a Purchase Order or Job number for reference. You can also link an existing quote.
This is the estimated value based on budget or area calculation. This will be automatically updated when the measure or order is completed and published.
Assign a salesperson to the opportunity. A salesperson selection is required in order to advance the opportunity from the To Do stage.
Select Open Customer to view and edit parts of the RFMS customer record. Use Replace to insert a different customer (this can only be done in the To Do stage.)
Three tabs are at the top of the dialog box.
- Customer: Customer information as it is in RFMS Core
- Remarks: This is information contained in RFMS CMM
- Quotes & Orders: All quotes and orders on file for this customer which can then be viewed or opened
