This article will help take you through the process and necessary permissions that are needed to obtain a credit card pre-authorization on a quote.

Necessary Permissions

Core Permissions

• Credit Card set-up must be complete
• Individual user must be granted access to credit card payments and My Flooring Link

ROS Permissions

• User settings>Order Entry>Preauthorize Payment

How to Obtain a Pre-Authorization

• Send a request via MFL
• Obtain Pre-authorization in person through RM

How to Collect a Pre-Authorization

When a quote is exported to an order the pre-authorized amount will be collected through a credit card transaction.

How to Void a Pre-Authorization

A quote that has a pre-authorization will have the option to Void the pre-authorization.

1. At the top of the quote tap the Void button .
2. Confirm that you wish to void the pre-authorization
3. The pre-authorization is removed from the quote and the hold on the customer credit card is removed.
