Merge Opportunities
Merging opportunities would be great when a customer has more than one opportunity in CRM. Sometimes while we are doing one part of the house they decide to do another area and it would be great to be able to merge the 2 opportunities.

Couldn't agree more, we run into this quite a bit and not being able to merge and having to combine them by hand is slow and tedious.
100% Agree, and perhaps there is an alternative approach with the ability to create 'additional' opportunities in CRM through MM with Project Sets?
Since we cannot merge these opportunities without getting technical... If a client wants multiple types of work done, variations to quotes, or projects in phases.. I still measure it all at once and create multiple project sets in MM to accomodate.
There is NO sense in going through the entire process of a new opportunity in a clients home when you can just measure everything create variations in MM and export to RFMS quotes.. Unfortunately these do not track separately in CRM. It is unncecessarily complicated. I often offer to measure more areas to 'keep them on file' for future orders!!
Until this is easier, I just have to create new opportunites and link quotes, or just slap them straight to the WON collumn and search for the CG..
Choose the opportunities you want to merge. Most CRM systems allow you to select multiple records at once.
