CRM Unreferenced Product for Samples

We have switched to checking all samples out through CRM rather than core for sales associates. Is there a way to add an unreferenced product in CRM? Right now we have to add the product through core and then locate it in CRM. 

This creates a hiccup in the sales process and opens up the potential for missing products if we cannot add an unreferenced item quickly.

These samples aren't cheap, gotta keep an eye on em!

  • We do not track who has samples but the unreferenced line is definitely an issue we would love to see added to CRM.

  • I use the Pipeline > Products to send customers pricing, but if we have a product that is not in the system it's pointless (usually with tile since so many of our distributors are small and don't do B2B yet). It is such a sharp presentation of pricing but it needs to be more flexible.

  • I have also run into an issue of not being able to pull a product that is discontinued (therefore B2B has deleted it) but it is still in stock in our warehouse. Not able to put that in as an unreferenced product either.

  • the ability to check out a sample that is not in products. To be able to overwrite a TBD product with the sample product and style number and add a picture of the product as well as a notes line to all product samples checked out.
